Summary

The Sales Executive is responsible for prospecting, developing, and closing new business opportunities to achieve and exceed quarterly/annual revenue targets. This is a hunter role focused on generating new logo acquisitions and identifying new opportunities for our innovative EV charging software platform across targeted verticals and accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and qualify potential business opportunities through outbound calling, emailing, networking, LinkedIn etc.

  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial prospecting to needs discovery, demo, proposal development, negotiation and closure

  • Develop and deliver compelling presentations, demos and proposals highlighting the unique value propositions of our solutions  

  • Become an industry and product expert with the ability to consult with prospects on their EV charging strategy and requirements

  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product Management and other teams to align on targeting, messaging and sales enablement

  • Develop and execute creative account-based marketing strategies to penetrate key target accounts

  • Forecast sales activity, pipeline and revenue achievement in CRM or equivalent

  • Achieve and exceed quarterly/annual targets while maintaining high customer satisfaction scores

  • Identify and capitalize on cross-sell/upsell opportunities in the existing customer base

  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities and market dynamics

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Technology or equivalent

  • 2+ years of B2B software/SaaS solution selling experience with a strong track record of exceeding quotas

  • Experience selling EV charging, cleantech, energy management or sustainability solutions is a plus

  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to sell complex technology solutions 

  • Proven expertise in running consultative, insight-driven sales cycles  

  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and closing abilities

  • Ability to prospect, develop pipeline and drive new logo acquisitions (hunter mentality)

  • Proficient with CRM like Pipedrive and digital sales tools 

  • Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset and drive to succeed

  • Ability to travel as needed (25-50%)
